A Brief About Dr. Branton Shearer

Dr. C. Branton Shearer is a researcher, author, and clinical neuropsychologist who earned his Master’s degree in Counseling and Consulting Psychology from Harvard University and his Ph.D. in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation from the Union Institute in Ohio.

A pioneer in translating Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences into practical, evidence-based tools, Dr. Shearer developed assessment frameworks to provide rich, strength-based profiles of intellectual potential and learning preferences such as the MIDAS™ and MIIS. His ongoing research explores the neural bases of multiple intelligences and their practical applications in education and career development.
